Career Resources

As a graduate of the Education Department at Missouri S&T, you’ll be highly sought after and well prepared to teach in any environment.

The state of Missouri has collaborative agreements with many neighboring states in respect to certification requirements. In addition, some states allow teachers to obtain a temporary certificate, which lets them teach until the requirements of that particular state are completed.

Our programs are approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.  License reciprocity determinations outside of Missouri can be found at https://teaching.missouri.edu/student/state-authorization/mst/licensure

After you have received your initial teaching certification, you may add other areas of endorsement by passing additional content assessments.
